These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Caloorie mobile application and related services (“Services”). Caloorie is developed and operated by Namadosoft (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”), based in İzmir, Turkey. By downloading, accessing or using our app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to the Terms, please do not use the app.

1. Scope of Services and medical disclaimer

Informational use: Caloorie is a tracking and informational tool designed to help you analyse the calories and nutritional values of the food you eat.
Not medical advice: no information provided within the app is a substitute for the advice, diagnosis or treatment of a dietitian, doctor or authorised health professional. Always consult a specialist before making any decisions regarding your health condition, diet or nutritional habits. Namadosoft cannot be held liable for any health issues arising from the use of Caloorie.

2. Account creation and security

You must create an account to use all features of our Services.

You are obligated to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You are directly responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
If you notice any unauthorised access to your account, you must notify us immediately.

3. Free trial and subscriptions

Caloorie does not offer a permanent free basic version; instead, it operates on a full-access trial period followed by a subscription model.

10-day free trial: new users are granted 10 days of free, full access from the moment they create an account, so they can experience all features of the app.
Subscription requirement: once the 10-day free trial expires, you must choose a paid subscription plan to continue using the app. If a subscription is not started, your access to the Services will be restricted.
Billing: subscription transactions and in-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store using the respective platform’s payment systems.
Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the current billing cycle unless cancelled.
Cancellations: you must cancel subscriptions directly through your device’s app store settings (App Store or Google Play). Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you cancel, you keep access to the features until the end of the current billing cycle.

4. Fair use policy and daily AI usage limits

Caloorie’s food analysis features (photo analysis, text analysis, meal suggestions and motivational messages) and AI reports are powered by artificial intelligence services that incur a processing cost per request. To keep the Services sustainable, fast and fairly available to all users, the following fair use limits apply:

Daily limits: each account is subject to a daily usage limit of 50 AI analysis requests (photo analysis, text analysis and meal suggestions combined) and 5 AI reports per calendar day. Automatically displayed motivational messages do not count towards the 50 analysis requests; a separate, reasonable daily technical limit applies to them. These limits apply equally to all accounts, including trial users and paid subscribers.
Limit reset: daily limits reset automatically at the start of each new calendar day.
Usage counter: your current daily usage is shown in the app in your profile settings, so you can track how many requests you have used and how many remain for the day.
When a limit is reached: the related AI features become temporarily unavailable until the limit resets. All other app features (viewing your logs, history, statistics and manually recorded entries) remain fully accessible.
Enforcement: usage limits are enforced on our servers on a per-account basis. Attempting to circumvent these limits (including through automated tools, multiple accounts or manipulation of the app) is a violation of these Terms and may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Changes to limits: we may adjust these limits from time to time to reflect operational costs and service quality. Material changes will be reflected in these Terms and, where significant, announced in the app in accordance with section 8.

5. User conduct and prohibitions

By using the app, you agree not to:

Upload any software, viruses or malicious code that would prevent, disrupt or slow down the operation of the app.
Attempt to copy, crack or decipher the app’s source code through reverse engineering.
Use the Services for illegal, fraudulent or unauthorised purposes.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ accounts.
Circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, the fair use limits described in section 4, including by creating multiple accounts or using automated tools.

6. Intellectual property rights

All rights, titles, software code, algorithms, logos, designs and content of the Caloorie app belong to Namadosoft. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its content to you. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive right to use the app solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Limitation of liability

Caloorie is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or entirely secure. The nutritional and calorie analyses within the app rely on database matches and image recognition algorithms; the 100% accuracy of this data cannot be guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company cannot be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or punitive damages arising from the use of the app.

8. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be revised, and significant changes will be announced to you via notifications in the app. Your continued use of the app after the changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

The laws of the Republic of Turkey apply to the implementation and interpretation of these Terms and to the resolution of any legal disputes arising under them. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of İzmir have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute.
